Weatherproofing

The SPF roofing system is seamless, preventing leaks. The roof system prevents water from traveling laterally as it does on other roofs, meaning a puncture in a SPF roof will restrict leaks to the hole. This prevents the spreading of water, which can cause additional leaks.

Energy Savings

An SPF roof system not only protects against leaks, it also dramatically lowers energy costs by adding exceptional R-value to the roof! An average roof absorbs the sun’s ultraviolet rays as heat, warming the house but Conklin’s SPF roofing system reflects 85% of the sun’s heat, helping to cool your building and reduce air conditioning costs.

Renewability

SPF stands out from other roofing systems cause it is the only one that is renewable. Its long-lasting system ensures the protection of your business for decades. Plus, every 15 to 20 years its life can be extended with a thorough pressure cleaning and re-application of protective topcoat. That makes it one of the most cost effective long-term solutions on the market.

Easy and Cost-Effective Application

The application of an SPF roof is a two-stage process. An SPF roof is constructed by first applying a two-component liquid (isocyanate and polylol) to the base roof surface. The roof is then covered in a second application by a protective surfacing material, applied either with by sprayer or by rollers.

SPF can also be applied over other existing roofing surfaces. It can be applied directly over BUR, modified-bitumen, concrete, wood, asphalt shingles, clay tile, and metal. SPF adds very little weight to the roof (about 8 oz. per square foot at 1-inch thick) and there is rarely the need for tear-off before its application, except in cases of basic damage to the foundation material.

When you choose an SPF roof by Conklin Roofing Systems, you get peace of mind.
A sprayed polyurethane foam roof is a safe, sturdy, and energy-efficient roof made of the highest quality materials and workmanship.
